About Us
Welcome to the Life Education Auckland
Central website.
Life Education is an on going - health based
education programme that aims to give children of New Zealand the knowledge and
skills that will keep them free from harmful substances.
Rising levels of obesity, binge drinking and smoking amongst children and young
people are clear indications that they are not placing health as a priority in
their lives. There are many reasons for this, including socio-economic factors,
peer influence and media influences.
We're a non-profit organisation dedicated to delivering an interactive health programme as part of the school curriculum to over a quarter of a million primary and intermediate Kiwi school children each year.
